Assistant State Director Activity Report

With 28 rigs on-site we proceeded to put a great 2011 Area Camp-out in the books.

 

Thursday was arrival day

                          We held our greet and meet our fellow campers

                          Coffee was provided

                          Everyone brought finger food

                          Story time—everyone took part and all the stories were great

             Friday

                          7:00 AM          Coffee was provided

                          8:30 AM          Table Games

                          12:00   Lunch on your own

                          2:30 PM          Beanbag Baseball

                          5:30 PM          Stone Soup—Meat was provided for soup.  Everyone brought vegetables                    and some brought cornbread

             Saturday Morning

                          7:00 AM          Coffee was provided

                          8:30 AM          Pancake/Sausage was provided and thanks to Four Lakes Good                                                              Sams for cooking the breakfast

                          10:30 AM        Chapter meetings were held

                          12:00   Lunch on your own

                          2:00 PM          Table Games

                          5:00 PM          Potluck

                                       After the meal we played Dime Bingo

                                       Prizes for all games were presented

                                       Everyone got a prize that came to the camp-out

                                       Entertainment, Ester Caly from MS Mudcat Sams

             Sunday Morning

                          7:00 AM          Coffee and sweet rolls were provided

                          8:30 AM          Devotional by Rev. Doug Bishop from the North MS Sams

 

Thanks to Ralph Shields for going on-line to Michelin Tire Company and getting every rig that came to the Area Camp-out a nice tire pressure gage.  Thank you to our Saturday evening entertainment, Ester Coly.  Thank you to Joe Brown from North MS Sams for keeping the coffee pot going.
