Chapter Members of the Mississippi Good Sams,
This letter will cover items that need to be addressed for the Spring Samboree in Starkville;
We still don't have a sound equipment person. Does anyone know of a chapter member that does audio for a church, band or business?
Volunteers: We need volunteers to help
RC with the games,
Larry Blaylock with Hospitality (especially to fill in the white board for daily activities), movie and pop corn, walking program, SAMGO, golf tournament, flea market and some help with the decorations.
This is your Samboree, I hope we have enough PRIDE in our organization to have someone help with the work. Send your Chapter or individual responses to me and I will match them up with needed areas.
Don't forget, we need;
1. 50 items per chapter to put in the Welcome Bags and someone to help on Wed. morning to fill them. Please get your items to someone that will be there by Wed. morning and
2. Three(3) Ea.- $10 door prizes per chapter.
3. Sponsorships - Those of you that took part in the 09 Bronze challenge, your Sponsorships are up for renewal. Please see if they will take part in the 2010 challenge!
Some good news!! We have three Platinum sponsorships already and the possibility on one more soon. Have you done your share? We need this money to offset the costs of the Samboree not covered by the registration fee. See the web-site for the rewards for bringing in a Sponsorship
Check the ASD section of our web-site for information on the upcoming Area Campouts. It will be a nice way to start the camping year. Area's 1 & 2 look to be a lot of fun so come join us for some fellowship, fun and food!!!
